Raids & Survival

How do I heal during a raid?

Bring a medkit in your raid loadout. Open your inventory with E and use it from there. Healing is unavailable while you are actively fighting or searching a location, so you must first reach a safe state.

How does Auto-Heal work?

Combat automation unlocks at level 15. In Raid Filters you can set medical items such as medkits and adrenaline to be used automatically when your health falls below a chosen percentage, provided the item is available in your raid slots.

How does escaping combat work?

An escape attempt uses the escape minigame plus a separate 50% tracking roll. Completing the minigame does not increase that 50% value: the minigame represents reaching cover, while the roll represents whether the enemy finds you again.

Do hacking minigames matter if they are optional?

Yes. Idle automation can complete hacking for you, but manually completing the hacking minigame is faster and can improve the rarity of the resulting loot.

Inventory & Equipment

Do looted items use my rig or backpack slots?

No. Raid slots are for items you intend to use during the raid, such as magazines, meds and adrenaline. Loot picked up during the raid is governed by your carry-weight limit instead.

How do magazines and reloads work?

Your weapon needs compatible magazines in your raid loadout. Reloading during active combat consumes a magazine; the automatic reload that happens after combat does not consume one.

How do Mythic weapon abilities work?

Mythic weapons can naturally spawn with abilities. The Mythic Mod Menu can also roll or add additional abilities. A +10 Ascended Mythic item can unlock a third rollable ability slot.

Does Blink Hunter work while the weapon is unequipped?

No. Blink Hunter and similar active weapon abilities require the weapon carrying the ability to be actively equipped and used in combat.

Tech & Modification

What does the inject queue do?

Injecting a code places it in a queue for the next compatible modification roll. Kernel codes are consumed by the matching Kernel action, while Patch codes are consumed by the appropriate Patch-style action. Queued codes are guaranteed into that next compatible roll.

Can I queue more than one code?

Yes. Multiple compatible codes can be queued and then applied together by the next matching module action.

Traders & Recovery

Do traders have unlimited stock?

Trader stock normally refreshes on a 30-minute restock cycle. Basic essentials such as common medical items and magazines can be unlimited.

What if I am too injured or broke to deploy?

Medical items can be used directly from storage outside a raid. If your cash is below $5,000, the Free Kit button on the loadout screen can provide basic items; those items can also be sold if you need money for medicine.

Progression

Do I permanently lose my dog during the Prestige 9 progression?

No.

Reveal progression spoiler

Giving up the dog is part of the transition into Prestige 10. Later in Prestige 10, after the required milestones, one of the ending choices allows you to get the dog back.
